Inventory they can finally trust.

Jericho Farms left desktop software for live, web-based inventory — so a customer's question gets a confident answer without a drive out to the field.

Desktop software, paper notes, and inventory that was never right.

Before Plantiful, Jericho ran on desktop software that tied the team to the office. To track what was in the fields — and how plants had moved from one gallon to three to five — someone wrote it on paper, then walked inside to reconcile it against the computer. It was cumbersome, and it felt like 1990s technology in a 2026 business.

The breaking point was small but telling: a request to change two words on an invoice still wasn't done two weeks later, because only the software vendor could make the change. Today Jennifer can edit invoice and pick-ticket layouts herself, in seconds, as many times as she wants.

Autonomy, support, and data they could actually use.

Jericho had looked at other systems, but the combination of customer support, autonomy, user-friendliness, and the ability to use their own data well made the choice clear. No other platform they found could do what they needed — or let them do it themselves.

Just as important, the team could use as much or as little of the system as they wanted. Staff who still like a legal pad can keep it; the workflows the nursery needed were there without paying for anything it didn't.

A soft launch that finished ahead of schedule.

Jericho ran the old system and Plantiful side by side, entering invoices in both and keeping Plantiful out of customers' view for about five months. The plan was six — but the system proved so much easier that they shortened the timeline quickly.

Plantiful understands how to train people who aren't technically minded, and does it with grace. Every step is backed by a video the team can watch on their own. Check-ins moved from weekly to biweekly to monthly as Jericho found its footing.

Every plant tracked through every size change.

Plantiful runs all of Jericho's inventory control. Liners come in through purchasing, then get tracked as they're potted up into gallons, threes, fives, fifteens, and twenty-fives. Orders generate both an invoice and a pick ticket, and the team can reorder the pick ticket by field layout instead of alphabetically — which cuts the time to pull an order in half.

Plantiful also turns operational tracking that once took hours into minutes — weather-related discard reports when stock is lost, and a clear read on which suppliers deliver material that establishes best.

We track liners as they come in, then as they're potted up into gallons, then threes, then fives, fifteens, and twenty-fives — Plantiful follows every plant through every size change.

Inventory they trust, and customers who serve themselves.

Live inventory means a customer asking for 25 Little Lime hydrangeas gets a yes on the spot — no drive into the field to double-check. Landscape customers search and sort the list themselves, turning 20- and 30-minute conversations into five or ten.

Those faster conversations have lifted sales, and the back office got easier too: many landscape customers outsource their accounts payable, so a digital invoice that arrives automatically clears up problems on their end.

When a customer calls and asks, 'Do you have 25 Little Lime hydrangeas?' — if I've got 50 in inventory, I can tell them yes immediately. Before Plantiful, I'd have to drive out into the field and double-check, because our inventory was never correct. It's been a game changer.

Seeing where the money actually comes from.

Jennifer is the first to say she loves data, and Plantiful turned reporting that once took hours into a quick monthly read. It ranks the top ten sellers by quantity and the top ten by revenue — and the two lists rarely match.

The prettiest plant to grow often isn't the one earning the most. The same view shows where the nursery truly makes money versus where it assumes it does — including that roughly 80% of monthly orders are pickups, yet they make up only 20% of revenue. The goal isn't to drop the small orders, but to run them more efficiently.

Now we can track where we're actually making money versus where we think we're making money. The plant you love to grow because it's pretty probably isn't the one earning the most — Plantiful takes the emotion out of it and shows you your bottom line.
